Preview: AC Milan vs. Parma

Sports Mole previews Parma's trip to San Siro to play AC Milan.

AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi will be aware that he must deliver three points at home to Parma if he is to guarantee his position at the club for another week.

The pressure is growing on the former Italy striker after a succession of defeats, with Milan only recording two victories in their last 13 in Serie A.

That run has seen the Rossoneri drop into the bottom half of the league table but Inzaghi has been boosted by the arrival of striker Mattia Destro, who has joined on loan from Roma.

The forward is a likely starter, as is defender Salvatore Bocchetti, who could replace the suspended Philippe Mexes after moving from Spartak Moscow.

Bottom-placed Parma make the journey to San Siro as many as 10 points adrift of safety, while they lost ground on their nearest rivals Cesena after suffering a 2-1 defeat to the Cavallucci Marini last weekend.

Roberto Donadoni's men have only won twice in 17 games in the league but triumphs over Inter Milan and Fiorentina suggest that they aren't intimidated by the big clubs in Italy.

The Crociati are unable to call upon the services of striker Antonio Cassano after he departed Stadio Ennio Tardini by mutual consent earlier this week.

AC Milan:
