Giacomo Bonaventura and Giampaolo Pazzini score the goals as AC Milan edge to a 2-0 victory over Cesena in their Serie A match at the San Siro.

AC Milan moved back into the top half of the Serie A table by earning a 2-0 victory over lowly Cesena this afternoon.

Andrea Poli headed the ball into the back of the net for the Rossoneri in the second minute after Riccardo Montolivo's shot had been saved, but he was wrongly adjudged to have been standing in an offside position and the goal was ruled out.

Milan looked to make a bright start to the second half and their first chance fell to Mattia Destro, who found some room on the edge of the box before curling wide.
