Corinthians director of football Duilio Alves has revealed that the club are interested in signing AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato.
The 22-year-old has endured an injury-plagued campaign to date, with reports suggesting that he could leave Italy in the summer.
"I like that idea, but we have not spoken to him yet. I have been following his situation through the press, he is a great player and he would be welcome here," Alves told Lancenet.
"Corinthians' doors are open for him to come here and recover. We want a world-class striker, we have to think this way because of the dimension of this club."
Pato has made just 18 appearances for Milan this season.
