Ankaragucu will look to claim their second victory of the Turkish Super Lig season when they welcome Kayserispor to the Eryaman Stadium on Saturday.
The visitors, who are four points better off than their opponents, are hoping to claim their first away victory since April.
Match preview
Ankaragucu have experienced a slow start to the 2022-23 season, having mustered just six points from their opening seven matches.
After picking up just two points from their first four games, Ankaragucu looked to have turned a corner when they claimed a 3-1 victory over Sivasspor.
However, they have been unable to build upon that victory after playing out a 1-1 draw with Konyaspor, before suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat to reigning champions Galatasaray.
They would have been dreaming of a surprise win when Renaldo Cephas took the lead against Galatasaray, but a Wilfried Zaha strike and a Hayrullah Bilazer own goal left Emre Belozoglu's side empty-handed.
Ankaragucu will now return to home surroundings where they will be looking to end a poor run of form after failing to win any of their last seven league matches at the Eryaman Stadium.
Meanwhile, Kayserispor have collected 10 points from their seven matches to leave them in ninth position ahead of Saturday's encounter.
Recep Ucar's charges made an unbeaten start to their campaign after winning two and drawing three of their opening five games.
However, they fell to their first defeat in their most recent away game against Besiktas, before they played out a goalless draw in Monday's home meeting with Istanbul Basaksehir.
Although they are yet to lose on home turf this season, Kayserispor are now winless in eight away league games since beating Trabzonspor 4-3 in April.
Having failed to keep a clean sheet in 15 consecutive away games in the top flight, Saturday's visitors will be looking to produce a strong defensive display against Ankaragucu.
Team News
The hosts are expected to be without the services of forward Ali Sowe, who has missed the last three matches through injury.
There are also doubts surrounding Uros Radakovic's availability after the defender was forced off in the first half against Galatasaray.
After dropping to the bench last weekend, Efkan Bekiroglu could return to the starting XI for Saturday's home contest.
As for the visitors, Miguel Cardoso remains sidelined with an ankle injury which has kept him out of action since August.
Gokhan Sazdagi is also unlikely to feature after missing the goalless draw with Istanbul Basaksehir with an injury issue.
Having scored five goals in seven league games this season, Mame Thiam will be looking to add to his tally when he leads the line on Saturday.
Ankaragucu possible starting lineup:
Gungordu; Bilazer, Cetin, Mujakic, Hanousek; Guneren, Djokanovic; Cephas, Bekiroglu, Rodrigues; Bajic
Kayserispor possible starting lineup:
Bayazit; Uzodimma, Attamah, Jeanvier, Carole; Yilmaz, Ackah; Civelek, Boa Morte, Mane; Thiam
We say: Ankaragucu 1-1 Kayserispor
While Ankaragucu are winless in seven home matches, Kayserispor have failed to win any of their last eight away games in the Turkish Super Lig.
As a result of their respective struggles, we think that the two sides will have to settle for a share of the spoils on Saturday.
