Arjen Robben ruled out of Arsenal game

Bayern Munich confirm that Arjen Robben will miss the Champions League clash with Arsenal as he continues to recover from an adductor injury.

Arsenal have been handed a boost with the news that Bayern Munich will be without Arjen Robben for their Champions League clash on Tuesday.

Robben returned to training recently as he continues to recover from an adductor injury that he picked up while on international duty early last month.

Despite making good progress this week, Pep Guardiola will not risk the winger against the Gunners after a club statement confirmed that he was "not yet match fit" as Bayern made the trip to London on Sunday evening.

Kingsley Coman will return to the visiting squad after sitting out the 1-0 win over Werder Bremen due to a muscular problem he sustained while playing for France Under-21s last weekend.

Arsenal lost their opening two Group F games, while Bayern are searching for a third successive win.
