Jamie Carragher believes that Arsenal, rather than Manchester City or Chelsea, have the best chance of progressing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Gunners were handed a last-16 clash against Monaco, which Carragher feels presents them with a better opportunity of reaching the latter stages of the competition, as Jose Mourinho's men face Paris Saint-Germain while City come up against Barcelona.
Carragher told Sky Sports News: "They've been fortunate this time. They normally get a giant and they normally go out.
"But Arsene Wenger and the players will be delighted with that. Monaco spent a lot of money in the last couple of years and have some good players but it's a tie you'd expect Arsenal to come through.
"If Manchester City and Chelsea come through their ties you'd expect them to go further than Arsenal but now you'd say Arsenal have more chance of being in the quarter-finals than those two."
Arsene Wenger's side have not reached the quarter-finals of the competition since the 2009-10 season.
