Arsene Wenger confident of Champions League qualification

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that his side can still qualify for the next round of the Champions League despite Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that his side can still reach the next round of the Champions League despite Tuesday's defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

The Gunners lost for the first time in Group F as a late Robert Lewandowski goal earned the German outfit a 2-1 win at the Emirates Stadium.

Wenger's side are now level on points with Dortmund and Napoli with three games left to play.

"It is tight and difficult for us, but possible," the Frenchman told the club's official website.

"You have three teams with six points, and we have played twice at home and once away, so that means we need a result away from home - but we can do that."

Arsenal continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
