Half-Time Report: Goalless first half at Liberty Stadium

Swansea City and Arsenal remain level at half time at the Liberty Stadium after a goalless first 45 minutes.

There were no goals in the first half between Swansea City and Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League.

Aaron Ramsey had a chance to give the visitors the lead after 15 minutes, but the Wales international's strike drifted just wide.

Michu tried to set up Wayne Routledge for a simple tap-in, believing that he had won the ball on the goalline after battling with Wojciech Szczesny, but the assistant referee ruled that the ball had gone behind.

The home side had a strong spell towards the end of the half, applying pressure inside Arsenal's half, but were unable to break the deadlock.

Olivier Giroud took a knock to his ankle late in the half and still seemed to be feeling it when he stretched for an attempt at the Swansea goal in the final seconds of stoppage time, allowing the ball to go harmlessly behind.
