Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette suffered cramp during Sunday's clash with Tottenham Hotspur rather than a hamstring problem, according to a report.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette reportedly suffered cramp during Sunday afternoon's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur rather than a hamstring problem.

The Frenchman, who scored his team's first just before the break to cut the score to 2-1, was substituted with 23 minutes of normal time remaining at the Emirates Stadium.

Immediately after the match, Arsenal boss Unai Emery suggested that the 28-year-old had picked up a hamstring injury which could lead to a spell on the sidelines.

However, according to Goal.com, the problem is not as bad as first feared and cramp was the reason for the attacker's withdrawal in the 67th minute of the clash.

Lacazette has now scored twice in three Premier League appearances for his capital club this season.

The Gunners came from two goals behind to ultimately pick up a point against their bitter rivals, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netting the leveller in the 71st minute.
