Manchester City's Sergio Aguero could make his comeback against Arsenal.

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero is targeting a return from injury this weekend.

The Argentine striker said via Twitter that he expects to be available for selection when his side faces Arsenal on Sunday.

"I got back from practice on Wednesday and and there's no pain anymore," he wrote. "If it all goes well, I'll be at coach's disposal on Sunday."

Aguero missed City's 3-3 draw with Sunderland last weekend after what manager Roberto Mancini described as a "stupid injury".

It has since been confirmed that a "topical anaesthetic" caused a burn on his right foot.
