Arsenal's Mathieu Debuchy suffers nasty injury in Manchester City draw

Arsenal's Mathieu Debuchy suffers what looks like a serious injury after landing awkwardly in his side's 2-2 draw with Manchester City.

Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy suffered what looked like a serious injury during his side's game against Manchester City.

The Gunners were leading 2-1 when the Frenchman landed awkwardly on his left leg, leaving him writhing in agony on the ground.

After receiving oxygen, the 29-year-old was stretchered off to applause from all corners of the Emirates.

Arsenal overcame Sergio Aguero's first-half strike with goals from Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez. City equalised shortly after Dubuchy's injury however after a Martin Demichelis headed effort.
