Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's agent suggests that Mikel Arteta's tactics are playing a big part in the Arsenal captain's goalscoring drought.

The agent of Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has taken to social media to suggest that Mikel Arteta's tactics are to blame for the 31-year-old's goal drought.

Aubameyang has scored plenty of vital goals for Arsenal since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund, but the forward's recent struggles in front of goal are well-documented.

The Gabon international put pen to paper on a new big-money deal in the summer after much speculation, but Aubameyang's performances have not been up to scratch and he boasts just two Premier League goals this term.

Now, Aubameyang's agent Kwaku Mensah has given his take on the situation, sharing a graphic on Instagram which showed that Arsenal have created the least amount of chances in the Premier League this season.

Mensah accompanied the image with the caption: "If you create chances..." with creativity an evident issue for the Gunners under Arteta at the moment.

The North London outfit have been heavily linked with Red Bull Salzburg's Dominik Szoboszlai as a potential solution, but Hungary's manager Marco Rossi recently tipped the starlet to complete a move to RB Leipzig in January.
