Arsenal playmaker Alexis Sanchez has insisted that he holds many of the same qualities as the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Both Ronaldo and Messi have held a dominant position in the running for the Ballon d'Or in recent years, with Messi claiming the accolade four times since 2010, but Sanchez believes that he can offer many similar qualities to the pair.
"I have reached a level where I can compete with great players," said Sanchez, according to Sport.
"I do not feel inferior to anybody. I liken [my qualities] to Messi and Ronaldo. I have the same abilities as them."
Sanchez joined the Gunners in 2014 where he has notched 30 goals in 68 league appearances for the London club.
