Rafael van der Vaart: "We are better than Arsenal"

Rafael van der Vaart believes that Tottenham Hotspur have a better squad to call upon than Arsenal.

Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart believes that Tottenham Hotspur have a "bigger and better" squad than North London rivals Arsenal.

The 28-year-old scored as Spurs extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with a 3-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers yesterday afternoon.

"We are better than Arsenal," said Van der Vaart. "In our last seven games we have won six and drawn once. It's a long season, but I think we have a bigger and better squad."

Van der Vaart has now scored in a club record-equalling five successive Premier League games for Spurs.
