Team News: Mesut Ozil returns to Arsenal side

Midfielder Mesut Ozil returns to the Arsenal starting lineup for the Premier League fixture with Stoke City.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has recalled midfielder Mesut Ozil for his side's Premier League match with Stoke City.

Ozil missed his team's last fixture at Newcastle United with a knee injury, but the German international has come back into the starting lineup in place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

That is the only alteration made by Wenger, who opts to keep Theo Walcott in attack in place of Olivier Giroud.

As for Stoke, summer signing Joselu has been handed his first start in the Premier League in one of three changes to Mark Hughes's team.

Marko Arnautovic and Phil Bardsley have also been selected, with Charlie Adam, Ibrahim Afellay and Glen Johnson the men missing out.

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey; Ozil, Sanchez, Walcott
Subs: Ospina, Debuchy, Gibbs, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Campbell, Giroud

Stoke City: Butland; Bardsley, Cameron, Muniesa, Pieters; Whelan, van Ginkel; Diouf, Shaqiri, Arnautovic; Joselu
Subs: Given, Wollscheid, Wilson, Ireland, Sidwell, Bojan, Crouch
