Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Arsenal new boy Jorginho could make his debut for the club when the Premier League leaders travel to Everton for Saturday lunchtime's battle.

The ex-Chelsea man arrived at the Emirates Stadium on deadline day following news of Mohamed Elneny's knee surgery, which could rule him out for the rest of the season.

Mikel Arteta will welcome more midfield reinforcements after Thomas Partey came off with a rib problem in last weekend's FA Cup defeat to Manchester City, but scans have not shown anything serious, and he should keep his place in the XI.

As a result, Jorginho can expect to take up a place on the bench at Goodison Park, with Partey and Granit Xhaka sure to resume their partnership if the former is fit enough.

Elsewhere, Gabriel Jesus continues to recover from his serious knee problem, while Emile Smith Rowe is also out of contention, but Reiss Nelson has returned to training after a month out with a thigh issue.

Leandro Trossard enjoyed a bright cameo at the Etihad Stadium in his first Arsenal start, but Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Eddie Nketiah should form a recognisable frontline here.

Rob Holding was given a torrid time by Erling Braut Haaland in the FA Cup, and the Englishman will now make way as William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes partner up at the back.

Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko are also primed to return to their full-back roles, as Aaron Ramsdale wrestles the gloves back off Matt Turner.

Arsenal possible starting lineup: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Xhaka, Partey; Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli; Nketiah
