Arsenal may have to make do without Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe for their Premier League showdown with Liverpool on Saturday evening.
The two youngsters were both selected for international duty, but Saka had to pull out with a hamstring issue and Smith Rowe's time with the Under-21s was hampered by a hip problem, so it remains to be seen if they will be passed fit here.
Should Saka be ruled out of this encounter, Nicolas Pepe should get the nod on the right-hand side of the attack, although Willian has now recovered from a calf strain.
Martin Odegaard continues to go from strength to strength under Mikel Arteta and is a shoo-in for the number 10 role, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should keep his spot in the team despite enduring a miserable run in front of goal before the international break.
Alexandre Lacazette led from the front against West Ham United and will hope to do so again here, while Mohamed Elneny could be rewarded with a start in midfield after another long-range goal for Egypt in the international break, as Granit Xhaka missed training on Friday through sickness.
Pablo Mari was given the nod alongside David Luiz last time out, but Gabriel Magalhaes and Rob Holding will surely return here after a calamitous first half at the London Stadium, especially with Luiz now confirmed to be missing out with a knee problem.
Calum Chambers starred in the 3-3 draw at West Ham as Cedric Soares sat on the bench, while Hector Bellerin was left out entirely, but the Spaniard's speed and agility could prove vital against Liverpool's wingers, so he may be brought back into the fold by Arteta this week.
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Elneny; Pepe, Odegaard, Aubameyang; Lacazette
