Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is open to joining Barcelona at the end of the 2019-20 campaign, according to a report.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly open to joining Barcelona at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has scored 38 times in 91 appearances for the Gunners since joining the club from Lyon in the summer of 2017.

The Frenchman still has little under three years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium, but there were suggestions during the summer that Barca were interested in a swoop.

According to football.london, Lacazette wants to 'see what sort of market is out there' before signing a new deal at Arsenal, with the striker keen to discover whether the Spanish champions intend to make a move in next summer's transfer window.

Lacazette has netted twice in three Premier League appearances for Unai Emery's side this season, including a goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby last weekend.

Barca, meanwhile, signed Antoine Griezmann for big money during the summer to improve their attack, but the Spanish champions still lack competition at centre-forward for Luis Suarez.
