Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.
Last month, it was reported that Barcelona sporting director Deco had made contact with Duran's representatives about a potential move.
However, Duran has since signed a new contract with Villa, putting pen to paper on fresh terms which will last until the summer of 2030.
Unai Emery's side seemingly keen to secure Duran's long-term future following his impressive start to the 2024-25 season.
The Colombia international has scored seven goals in 12 competitive appearances this season, including an effort in Tuesday's 2-0 Champions League win over Bologna.

Arsenal show interest in Duran
Villa may have hoped that Duran's new deal would put off his potential suitors, but it appears that he is still being linked with a move away from Villa Park.
According to Fichajes, Arsenal are showing an interest in the 20-year-old forward despite his recent contract renewal.
The report also claims that Barcelona are still keeping tabs on Duran as they look to sign a potential successor to Robert Lewandowski.
There is a belief that Villa will demand at least €90m (£75m) before they consider parting ways with the in-form striker.
Barcelona may find it difficult to meet that valuation due to their financial issues, while it remains to be seen whether Arsenal would be willing to meet Villa's asking price.

Why are Arsenal keen to sign a new striker?
The Gunners are currently light of options in the number nine position after selling Eddie Nketiah to Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta can currently call upon Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus as his main centre-forward options.
While Havertz has scored six goals in 12 appearances this season, Arsenal continue to be linked with a number of potential forward targets, including Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres and Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic.
