Arsenal resume interest in Ricky Alvarez

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger allegedly resumes his bid to sign Argentine international Ricky Alvarez.

Arsenal have allegedly renewed their interest in signing Inter Milan midfielder Ricky Alvarez.

The Gunners missed out on the playmaker to Inter in 2011, but Arsene Wenger will now attempt to prise him from the Italians, according to Argentine newspaper Ole.

Alvarez scored twice and notched up five assists for Inter last season, but has yet to start a league game during the current campaign.

The 24-year-old, who has caps for Argentina at senior level, joined Inter from Velez Sarsfield last summer.
