Arsenal reportedly decide to up their interest in Barcelona youngster Robert Navarro before the teenager pens a new deal at Camp Nou.

Arsenal have reportedly decided to up their efforts to sign Barcelona youngster Robert Navarro.

Earlier this month, it was suggested that both the Gunners and Manchester City were interested in securing the services of the 15-year-old, who is yet to pen professional terms at Camp Nou.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are ready to make their move with Navarro able to switch clubs after his 16th birthday, which is on Thursday.

Barca are allegedly hopeful of convincing the player to remain in Spain, but it appears that Arsenal will make every effort to bring Navarro to North London.

In the past, Arsenal have been able to sign the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin after the pair had spent their youth days with Barcelona.
