Arsenal using Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to lure Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele?

Arsenal are reportedly hoping that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang can play a role in convincing Ousmane Dembele to leave Barcelona in order to move to North London.

Arsenal have reportedly identified Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's friendship with Ousmane Dembele as a possible way of tempting the Barcelona winger to the club.

Dembele only moved to Camp Nou in a big-money deal in 2017, but the France international has been frequently linked with an exit in recent weeks due to issues off the pitch.

Liverpool are said to be in the running for Dembele, but according to The Mirror, Arsenal are ready to try to sign the 21-year-old in the future.

The report suggests that the Gunners are hoping that they can use Aubameyang to convince his former Borussia Dortmund teammate to make the switch to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are unlikely to be able to afford any deal during the January window, but the North London outfit may look to put things in place for the summer.

Dembele has made just 19 starts in La Liga since moving to the Catalan giants in August last year.
