Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has revealed that Arsenal have not returned with an improved offer for midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
The Magpies were hit with a reported £12m offer, which Pardew declared 'unacceptable', on the eve of Newcastle's 4-0 defeat to Manchester City on Monday.
"The situation with Yohan is ongoing," the Hartlepool Mail quotes Pardew as saying. "We've had one bid, and we've turned it down. That's all I can comment on with Yohan."
Recent reports have claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are winning the race to sign Cabaye.
