Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly receive a boost in their pursuit of Brentford striker Ivan Toney.

Brentford striker Ivan Toney has reportedly outlined his plans to leave the club, amid interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Toney is currently serving an eight-month suspension for breaching the Football Association's betting regulations.

While he is unable to play competitive football until January, the 27-year-old recently returned to training with his Brentford teammates.

With Toney's ban set to expire during the winter transfer window, Toney is already being linked with a move away from Brentford.

A recent report claimed that Chelsea are optimistic about their chances of signing Toney, with the Blues looking to recruit a striker when the transfer window reopens in January.

Arsenal are said to be long-term admirers of the Brentford forward, while Tottenham are also interested after failing to sign a replacement for Harry Kane in the summer.

According to The Mirror, Toney recently held talks with Brentford boss Thomas Frank to discuss his future with the Bees.

Brentford's talisman is targeting a move away in January after expressing his desire to take the next step in his career.

There is a belief that the Bees will sanction the player's departure if a potential suitor meets their £60m asking price.

With Toney willing to push for a move away, there is a possibility that he has played his final game for the West London club.

The forward, who is under contract until June 2025, has spent the last three years with Brentford after arriving from Peterborough United in the summer of 2020.

During his time with the Bees, he has scored 68 goals and provided 21 assists in 124 appearances across all competitions.

Brentford have already started to draw up a list of replacements for Ivan Toney, with Club Brugge's Antonio Nusa among those identified as a potential target.
