Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly set to rival Chelsea for Club Brugge's teenage winger Antonio Nusa.

Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly interested in Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa, who was linked with a summer move to Chelsea.

Nusa is being watched by clubs from across Europe after establishing himself in Club Brugge's first-team setup last season.

The 18-year-old made an immediate impression on the European stage when he came off the bench to score in his Champions League debut against Porto in September 2022.

After going on to make a total of 32 appearances during the 2022-23 campaign, Nusa has continued to feature regularly in the opening stages of the new season.

The youngster has appeared in 10 games across all competitions this term, scoring one goal and contributing two assists.

Nusa's impressive performances in his fledgling career resulted in him becoming a transfer target for Chelsea.

The Blues reportedly failed with a bid to sign Nusa late on in the summer transfer window, ensuring that he remained in Belgium.

While Chelsea are continuing to keep tabs on Nusa, they could face competition from their Premier League rivals if they renew their interest in the future.

According to 90min, Arsenal and Liverpool have both sent scouts to watch the teenage winger in action in recent weeks.

The report claims that Newcastle United have also scouted Nusa, who is under contract until the summer of 2027.

In addition to the interest from the Premier League, Nusa is being monitored by a number of European clubs, including Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon and Monaco.

The attacker recently commented on Chelsea's approach, revealing that he was not aware of their bid until after Club Brugge's Europa Conference League clash with Osasuna on August 31.

"I didn't know about it," Nusa told TV2. "I saw there was a lot of stuff on my phone. My phone exploded after the game. Then I wondered what happened. Then I realised.

"I already knew that it wasn't going to happen, but then the money came on the table. Then it's seen in a slightly different way. We had to have another conversation when the money arrived, but we were on the same page, so there was no problem there. I knew what to do anyway, so it was fine."

Nusa is currently away with Norway's Under-21 side, and he made a significant contribution on his debut, scoring the opener and providing an assist for Jorgen Strand Larsen in Thursday's 6-0 friendly win over Jordan.
