Alex McLeish may move for Lukasz Fabianksi if Nottingham Forest fail to sign Rob Green.

Nottingham Forest manager Alex McLeish is believed to be considering a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski should the club fail in a bid for Rob Green.

The England international tops the Scot's wishlist in the January transfer window, with current stopper Lee Camp's contract with the Championship outfit expiring at the end of the current campaign.

Green made the switch from West Ham United to Queens Park Ranges in the summer, but has largely been rooted to the substitutes' bench following the arrival of Brazil number one Julio Cesar at Loftus Road.

The club would look to sign Green on loan, with any move likely to be dependant on QPR agreeing to pay a substantial portion of the 32-year-old's wages.

Should Forest fail in a move for Green, then McLeish will turn his attention to Arsenal's Fabianski.

The Poland international is out of favour with the Gunners, and could leave the Emirates Stadium for free this summer.

The 27-year-old has found himself behind Wojciech Szczesny in the goalkeeping pecking order at Arsenal, with Fabianski also suffering from numerous injuries during his tenure in North London.
