Lille's Gabriel Magalhaes reveals that he is targeting a move to "a club that is fighting for titles", all but ruling out a switch to Everton.

Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes has cast doubt over a move to Everton after admitting that he wants to join a club challenging for silverware.

The Toffees are one of a number of Premier League teams believed to be monitoring the 22-year-old, who is valued in the region of £30.5m.

Carlo Ancelotti is rumoured to have pushed the Everton board to make a formal offer for Magalhaes, but the Brazilian is seemingly targeting a transfer to a bigger club.

"If possible, [my next move] will be to go to a club that is fighting for titles, with the certainty of progressing and who can give me the support to integrate into the team," he told Foot Sur7.

Magalhaes, who has made 34 appearances in all competitions this term, is also rumoured to be wanted by Chelsea, Arsenal and Leicester City.
