Liverpool, Arsenal target Jordan Obita?

Reading defender Jordan Obita reportedly emerges as a target for Arsenal and Liverpool.

Liverpool and Arsenal have both reportedly identified Jordan Obita as a possible target ahead of the summer transfer window.

Obita earned praise for his performances for Reading in the Championship this season, but the club's inability to return to the Premier League means that the Royals could be forced to sell in the near future.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on the left-back as Brendan Rodgers looks to add options to his defence after falling just short of the Premier League title.

However, Liverpool could face competition for his signature from the Gunners, who are believed to have been watching his progress closely in recent months.

Obita will compete for England Under-21s in the Toulon Tournament, which begins this week.
