Garry Monk coy on Carl Jenkinson links

Garry Monk refuses to be drawn on speculation linking Swansea City with a move for Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson.

Swansea City boss Garry Monk was tight-lipped when quizzed on a potential move for Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson tonight.

The Swans have been linked with a move for the Gunners right-back, but the manager was coy when directly asked about the England Under-21 international.

He told Sky Sports News: "We've been linked with every player under the sun! I think every club has. We've got our targets we're going to try and bring in and we'll keep that to ourselves.

"It doesn't always come off so you keep a plan B, but we know what we're doing as a club."

Monk was speaking after watching his side beat Plymouth Argyle 4-0 on Sunday.
