Jose Mourinho hints that midfielder Nuri Sahin could be on his way out of the club amid speculation over his future.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has dropped a big hint that midfielder Nuri Sahin could be on his way out of the club.

Sahin, 23, has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal on loan, although Turkish side Galatasaray are also reportedly interested.

Mourinho hinted that Sahin would not be guaranteed a regular starting place at the Bernabeu just moments after saying that the Turkish midfielder is a player who wants to play in every game.

"The point is that he's a young boy who wants to play every match. He wants to play to be happy and in Real Madrid with Xabi Alonso, Sami Khedira, Lassana Diarra, Esteban Granero and Mesut Ozil, the situation is not easy," The Mirror quotes Morinho as saying.

"Real Madrid is very difficult. It is not an easy club, because we demand a lot. We have great players and when you don't start well, it's difficult to do it. If he stays, he's not a problem for me. He's one more solution. We are leaving the situation in his hands.

"Decide what you want to decide, to be happy. If you decide to leave we're going to help you to leave. If you decide to stay, we're going to support you and try to succeed this season."

Madrid signed Sahin from Borussia Dortmund for £8m last summer, but injury limited him to just 10 appearances for the Spanish giants.
