Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Sebastian Rode has played down suggestions that he will join Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
The German announced last weekend that he would not be extending his contact at Frankfurt beyond 2014, but Rode has refused to comment on the speculation.
"After more speculation about my future emerged yesterday and since this took something away from the Schalke win and the great performance of the whole team, I would like to make one thing clear," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I have a contract with Eintracht until 2014 and I am very happy in Frankfurt. During talks with the club bosses, I made it clear quite soon that I will fulfil my contract, but would not like to extend it.
"I have not signed on for any other club and I would like to commit all of my energy and concentration to my team and my performance. All the rest is pure speculation which does not come from me and which I do not like either. My only goal now is success with Eintracht Frankfurt."
Arsenal have also reportedly shown an interest in the midfielder.
