Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not be Villa manager

Reports claim that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told Aston Villa that he no longer wants to be considered for the managerial vacancy.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly told Aston Villa that he no longer wants to be considered for the managerial vacancy.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the 39-year-old, who was the favourite to succeed Alex McLeish, has decided to stay at current club Molde.

The former Manchester United striker, labelled as "super sub" during his time at Old Trafford, met with Molde bosses in Oslo this afternoon and has decided to stay on at the club he led to Norwegian title glory last season because of family reasons.
