Aston Villa to hold talks with Jack Grealish over alleged drunken photos

Aston Villa confirm that they will hold talks with teenage midfielder Jack Grealish after he was apparently photographed in a 'paralytic' drunken state while in Tenerife.

Aston Villa have released a statement confirming that they intend to hold talks with Jack Grealish after photos emerged online of the midfielder apparently drunk on the floor.

The 19-year-old is believed to have been pictured highly intoxicated while on holiday with friends in Tenerife.

Twitter user Briony King posted a series of photos and later described the teenage footballer, who is eligible to play for England and the Republic of Ireland, as "paralytic".

A statement via Villa's official website read: "The club is aware of the photographs of Jack Grealish currently circulating. We will be meeting with the player but any action will remain an internal matter. There will be no further comment from the club."

Grealish made headlines earlier this year for his off-field activity after he was allegedly caught inhaling legal high nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas.
