Rudy Gestede will start up front as a lone striker for Villa, with Jordan Ayew and Libor Kozak named on the substitutes bench.

Sunderland manager Dick Advocaat has recalled Younes Kaboul to the starting XI, with Sebastien Coates named on the bench.
