Coventry City complete loan deal for Nathan Delfouneso

Coventry City secure the loan signing of Nathan Delfouneso until the end of the season.

Coventry City have confirmed the signing of Nathan Delfouneso from Aston Villa on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Manager Steven Pressley admitted that interest in the 22-year-old was high after his 18-month spell with Blackpool came to an end earlier this month.

"Nathan had always been high on our shortlist for this window and we'd pursued him for a number of weeks so we are absolutely delighted to be able to bring him in," Pressley revealed in a club statement.

"He has a great level of experience for somebody of his age and his ability is something we feel will give us the kind of attacking threat that we want."

Delfouneso's current deal with Villa expires at the end of the season.
