Vicente del Bosque pleased with Diego Costa decision

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque describes Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa's decision to represent La Roja as "good news".

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has revealed his delight after it was confirmed that Diego Costa will play his international football for the European and World champions.

It was revealed on Tuesday that the Atletico Madrid forward had decided to represent Spain rather than the country of his birth Brazil.

Costa revealed his reasons for choosing La Roja on Wednesday and now Del Bosque has commented on the saga.

"Yes it is good news. Will the supporters be happy? Why wouldn't they be," the Spanish manager told reporters at a press conference.

Costa has scored 11 times in La Liga this season.
