Diego Simeone looks ahead to "three exciting weeks"

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone looks ahead to "three exciting weeks" as the La Liga title race draws to a close.

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has looked ahead to "three exciting weeks" in La Liga.

The capital outfit are still in charge of their own destiny in the league, with four points from their final two games enough to secure the title.

However, they will enter this weekend's match with Malaga off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Levante last time out.

"It's going to be three exciting weeks," Marca quotes Simeone as saying.

"We need to live them with calm and work hard. More than adrenalin, we have vertigo! I have experienced a lot of this during my career. We like this vertigo and we are enjoying it.

"You always have to believe and we do believe. We are not feeling pressure from these weeks, we will approach the upcoming games well and we need to respond."

Atletico are currently three points clear of second-placed Barcelona and five clear of Real Madrid, who have a game in hand.
