Dani Olmo has finally been registered with La Liga, meaning that the attacker is in line to make his Barcelona debut in Tuesday's league fixture against Rayo Vallecano.
The summer arrival from RB Leipzig was forced to miss Barcelona's opening two matches of the 2024-25 campaign against Valencia and Athletic Bilbao, having not been registered in time.
However, the situation has now changed, with the Spain international finally cleared to make his debut for Hansi Flick's side, and he has been named in the squad for Tuesday's fixture with Rayo Vallecano.
Andreas Christensen's long-term absence through injury, coupled with the recent first-team exits, has made space in the squad and the budget for Olmo to be registered.
Barcelona are missing six players through injury against Rayo, with Christensen, Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Ansu Fati all absent alongside Eric Garcia.

The Catalan outfit confirmed Garcia's injury blow on Tuesday, with the Spaniard facing a spell on the sidelines due to a foot issue.
"First-team player Eric Garcia has plantar fasciitis in his right foot. His evolution will determine his return to training," read a club statement.
The absences have opened the door for Sergi Dominguez, Andres Cuenca, Hector Fort and Gerard Martin to be included in the squad.
Barcelona will be aiming to make it three wins from their opening three matches of the 2024-25 La Liga campaign on Tuesday, having beaten Valencia and Athletic in their first two fixtures of the new season.
