Arda Turan has vowed to remain "patient" as he bids to make his mark at Barcelona.
The Turkish international joined the Spanish champions from Atletico Madrid last summer, but was not cleared to represent the Catalan club until January due to a transfer ban.
In 2016, the 29-year-old has made 23 appearances for Barcelona, but has only managed two goals and his performances have been criticised in the Spanish media.
Turan admits that 'doubts' entered his mind after struggling for starts, but claims that the thought of Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar prevented him from losing focus.
"When I had any doubt, I only thought of my childhood, because Barcelona are the club of my dreams. To wear this shirt, to become a friend of Iniesta, Messi, Suarez, Neymar... it's a good motivation to be patient," Arda told FourFourTwo.
Turan, who has scored 17 times in 89 appearances for Turkey, is in the Barcelona squad for Sunday's La Liga clash against Espanyol.
