Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino has declared that Neymar deserves credit for adapting quickly to life in La Liga.
Neymar has mostly featured as a substitute since sealing a £54.4m move from Santos to Camp Nou this summer, scoring his first goal for Barca in last month's Spanish Super Cup success over Atletico Madrid.
Martino told AS: "The press judge how he has adapted by asking whether he has scored goals or not, but he does a fantastic job in creating chances and recovering the ball.
"Don't forget that he had a long summer with the Confederations Cup, his hectic transfer to the club and the long trips he has had to make which have prevented him from training properly.
"He has adapted very quickly and I'm very happy with what he has done so far. We are very satisfied with everything he has offered us."
The 21-year-old started in last weekend's 4-0 win over Rayo Vallecano and played 81 minutes as Martino's side made it five wins from five in La Liga.
