New signing Ivan Rakitic feels that Barcelona could boast of having the three best players in the world.
The Catalan giants have added to their frontline of four-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi and Neymar with the £75m purchase of Luis Suarez from Liverpool.
Croatian midfielder Rakitic is Barcelona's other major signing of the summer, having joined from La Liga rivals Sevilla on a five-year contract, and he is excited about the prospect of providing service to a trio who he thinks are the top talents in the game.
"I think that these three players are maybe the best players in the world," he told reporters.
"I think from these players we can learn so much. We have to work together to be a strong team, a hard team."
Messi, Suarez and Neymar are unlikely to be in the same lineup for some time, with the Uruguay striker serving a four-month worldwide football ban and the Brazilian sidelined with a back injury.
