Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly re-entered the race for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi during the final stages of the window.
The Frenchman is said to be close to an exit of Stamford Bridge before the deadline, with Aston Villa supposedly keen on the player as they target reinforcements.
Disasi has been forced to settle for limited first-team minutes for the Blues this season following the arrival of Enzo Maresca as head coach.
The 26-year-old has made just six Premier League appearances, with only four of those coming as starts, totalling 365 minutes of top-flight action.
Since making the switch from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco during the summer of 2023, Disasi has featured on 61 competitive occasions for Chelsea, scoring five times.

Tottenham to resurrect deal for Chelsea's Disasi?
According to The Telegraph, Tottenham are attempting to resurrect a potential deal for the services of Chelsea wantaway Disasi before the end of the window.
It is believed that Spurs and the Blues have commenced talks once again over an agreement to bring the Frenchman to North London prior to the deadline.
The report claims that both clubs have already agreed on a temporary transfer, one that would cost Tottenham £5m for a six-month period until the end of the season.
The metaphorical ball is now in the court of Disasi, who is supposedly reluctant to leave Stamford Bridge in order to join Ange Postecoglou's strugglers.
Tottenham have the task of convincing the centre-back that a switch across the capital represents a good option before the 11pm deadline arrives.

Sign of the times at Spurs
It is a sorry sign of the times at Tottenham that a transfer target is currently favouring a switch to Aston Villa before the end of the window.
However, such a preference from Disasi is hardly a surprise at this moment in footballing time, with the Villans able to offer Champions League football.
Spurs are into the last 16 of the Europa League but have fallen below expectations in the Premier League, currently languishing in 14th spot.
