Barcelona refusing to give up on Real Sociedad forward Willian Jose?

Barcelona reportedly remain interested in trying to negotiate a deal for Real Sociedad forward Willian Jose in the coming days.

Barcelona are reportedly keen to secure a deal for Real Sociedad forward Willian Jose.

As a result of long-term injuries to Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona may be allowed to bring in an emergency replacement in the coming days.

While the Catalan giants have been linked with Real Zaragoza's Luis Suarez, Marca claims that there is also interest in Willian Jose.

The Brazilian had been expected to join Tottenham Hotspur in January, only for the two clubs to remain in disagreement over a fee.

The report suggests that is currently the case in negotiations between the two Spanish sides, with the player possessing a £59m release clause in his contract.

Despite Barca being against paying such a fee, it is said that there is a willingness to reach a compromise with Sociedad.
