La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Lille full-back Mathieu Debuchy.

The 27-year-old, who recently said that he was still keen on a move to Newcastle United, has been capped 12 times by France at senior international level.

Barca boss Tito Vilanova is understood to be on the lookout for a right-sided defender and, according to Fichajes.net, the Catalan club will watch Debuchy closely for the remainder of the season and move for him in the summer if they continue to be impressed.

Debuchy is under contract at Grand Stade Lille Metropole until the summer of 2015.
