Barcelona have unveiled their new signing Aleix Vidal, just 48 hours after the club were crowned European champions for a fifth time.
It was announced last night that Barca had reached an agreement to sign the versatile right-back from Sevilla for a fee believed to be in the region of £7.5m.
Vidal, who started his career as a trainee with Barca during the early 2000s, was at the Camp Nou this afternoon, where he passed a medical before going on to speak to the press.
"This is the most important day of my life. I've played for a lot of teams before arriving at Barca, but I hope this one's the last," said the 25-year-old.
"I went through a lot to get here and I'm living a dream. I always try to give my best. When you work hard to improve, it ends up paying off. I can't ask for more."
Due to Barca's transfer ban, Vidal cannot be registered to play for the Catalan outfit until January 2016.
