Gerard Deulofeu agrees to stay at Everton on loan next season?

Gerard Deulofeu reportedly agrees in principle to extend his loan stay at Everton from Barcelona.

Gerard Deulofeu has reportedly agreed to extend his loan stay at Everton from Barcelona.

The 20-year-old was expected to return to Camp Nou at the end of the season, but after the club's transfer ban was suspended, there is no urgent need to bring back loaned-out players.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Deulofeu has agreed in principle to remain at Goodison Park for another season as he is close to manager Roberto Martinez.

Everton are one point behind fourth-placed Arsenal in the Premier League table with three games left to play.
