Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly attempt to sign either Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo if Kylian Mbappe leaves the club in this summer's transfer window.
Mbappe is expected to be sold by the French champions in the upcoming market if he does not sign a new contract as the attacker's current deal is due to expire in June 2022.
According to Le Parisien, PSG are making plans for the France international's possible exit and will target either Messi or Ronaldo to replace the World Cup winner if a move takes place.
Messi's contract with Barcelona is due to expire at the end of June, and the Argentina international continues to be linked with a move away from Camp Nou.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has a contract with Juventus until next June, but the 36-year-old's future has been called into question following the Italian side's elimination from the Champions League.
Juve director Fabio Paratici has revealed that the club are not currently planning to begin talks with the Portugal international over a potential new deal.
