Paulo Dybala's future at Juventus 'hanging in the balance'

The future of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is hanging in the balance, according to the club's director Fabio Paratici.

The future of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is hanging in the balance, according to the club's director Fabio Paratici.

Dybala will see his contract expire in 2022 and if a new deal is not agreed over the next few months then Juve will need to sell him this summer if they are to receive a fee appropriate for a player of his quality.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all monitoring the 27-year-old's situation according to the Daily Mirror, as are Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The Argentine is likely to talk over a new deal soon but Paratici says negotiations are only just beginning.

"Paulo still has a few problems - it's like he's on a swing," Paratici said after Dybala missed Juventus' 3-0 win over Crotone on Monday due to injury.

"Some days he's better and others he's worse. He seemed okay [last week], then he felt some pain again.

"We have spoken [about this contract], we have been speaking and will continue to speak in the next few days and months."

Since joining Juve in 2015, Dybala has made 244 appearances for the Italian champions, scoring 98 goals and providing 40 assists.
