Bernd Leno is the latest goalkeeper to have been linked with a summer switch to Barcelona.
The Catalans are believed to be in the market for a new gloveman, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen supposedly keen to move on in a bid to secure regular match action elsewhere.
A recent report in England claimed that Barca had run the rule over Leicester City's Kasper Schmeichel.
However, according to Marca, Germany international Leno is now at the front of the queue.
The report adds that the 24-year-old has a buyout clause in his Bayer Leverkusen contract worth around £10m, although it expires this coming Saturday.
