Report: Stoke City eye move for Barcelona youngster Adama Traore

Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona winger Adama Traore on a loan deal when the transfer window reopens in January.

Stoke City are eyeing a loan move for Barcelona youngster Adama Traore in January, according to a report.

The 18-year-old has impressed several top clubs from around Europe and was said to be the target of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton in the summer, but the Catalan club were reluctant to let the winger leave.

However, Stoke are confident of lining up a temporary switch for Traore when the transfer window reopens in January, having previously signed Bojan Krkic and Marc Muniesa from the Spanish side, claims The Mirror.

Traore made one senior appearances for Barcelona last season.
